Privacy Policy

This policy explains how ADNA Limited (trading as BeeGo), a company registered in Ireland under company number 667311, with its registered office at Unit 19, Block 50, Rosemount Business Park, Ballycoolin, Dublin 11, D11 DC44, Ireland ("BeeGo", "we", "us" or "our") collects and uses personal data through the beego.ie website (the "Website"). We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

1. Purchases are made on Amazon

We do not take orders or payments on the Website. When you buy a BeeGo product, you buy it on Amazon, and Amazon collects and uses your personal data under its own privacy notice. Where Amazon shares order information with us as the seller (for example a delivery name and address so an order can be fulfilled, or to deal with a product query), we use it only for that purpose and in line with Amazon's rules.

2. What we collect on the Website

  • Contact form and emails: your name, email address, phone number (if you give it) and your message, when you contact us.
  • Email signup: your email address, if you subscribe to BeeGo offers and tips.
  • Website usage data: information collected automatically when you visit, such as your IP address, device and browser type, approximate location (country or city level), pages viewed, the site you came from and how you use the Website. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 6 and our Cookie Policy).
  • Amazon link tracking: the "View on Amazon" buttons use Amazon Attribution links. These let Amazon tell us, in aggregate, how many visits and sales came from the Website. We do not receive your name or order details through these links.

We do not collect payment card details, and the Website does not have customer accounts.

3. How and why we use your data

  • To reply to your questions and give product support (legal basis: our legitimate interests in helping customers, or steps you ask us to take).
  • To send you BeeGo offers, discount codes and childproofing tips by email, if you have signed up (legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email).
  • To run, secure and improve the Website and understand which pages and products are popular (legal basis: our legitimate interests).
  • To measure and improve our advertising, where you have agreed to marketing cookies (legal basis: your consent).
  • To meet our legal obligations, for example keeping records and responding to lawful requests (legal basis: legal obligation).

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, under contracts that require them to protect it, including:

  • Shopify, which hosts the Website, the contact form and our email list;
  • Amazon, through Amazon Attribution links and as the marketplace where purchases are made;
  • Advertising and analytics partners such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google and TikTok, where you have agreed to marketing cookies;
  • our professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers are based, or store data, outside the European Economic Area and the UK, including in the United States and Canada. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by an adequacy decision, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

6. Cookies

We use cookies that are needed for the Website to work and, with your consent, cookies for analytics and advertising. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies using the cookie banner and change your choice at any time. See our Cookie Policy for details.

7. How long we keep data

We keep contact form messages and emails for up to two years after our last contact with you, unless we need them longer for a legal reason. We keep your email signup until you unsubscribe. Website usage data is kept for no longer than our analytics and advertising providers' standard periods, typically up to 26 months.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you have the right to: access your personal data; have it corrected; have it deleted; restrict or object to how we use it (including objecting to direct marketing at any time); receive a copy in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email info@beego.ie. We may need to confirm your identity before responding.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland (www.dataprotection.ie) or, if you are in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

9. US visitors

If you live in a US state with consumer privacy laws, such as California, you may have rights to know what personal data we hold, to have it deleted and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal data for money. You can opt out of advertising cookies through the cookie banner or by emailing us.

10. Children

The Website is intended for parents and other adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

11. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. No website can be completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the authorities of a data breach where the law requires.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
